I was single at the time (absolutely no possibility of a baby!) and probably at one of my skinniest moments (a point I will never attain again). That shirt made its way to the back of the closet never to be seen again.Kids can be mean and cruel. What a good opportunity for you to teach your daughter about judging others and to make good choices in how she treats others.

I love your perspective. and i love that you were able to respond to her so wisely.But... I have to say I felt the same way about my mom when i was a kid. I have always (my entire life) been determined to not be like her physically and to be as active as possible.In recent years, my mom was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.
